Pentakeep in Bell Pepper

Pentakeep is widely used in the pepper cultivation. A trial has also been carried out at WUR in this cultivation.

The effects of using Pentakeep are as follows;

  • 8% more production measured by WUR
  • More regular setting
  • Heavier fruits, the percentage of class 2 decreases
  • More vital plant
  • Fruit will color faster
  • More dry matter, resulting in more fruit weight and/or pieces
  • Increase in quality
  • Good quality and more kilos until the end of cultivation
  • Better absorption of nutrients
  • Less susceptible to blossom end rot, measured by WUR
